We can't take credit for the original paint job on Mike's 41 Willys, but when it came time for spot repairs in a little over a half a dozen places on this car NOBODY else had the guts to touch it! Nobody, except for DOUGZ! We ain't got time for FEAR. One year earlier, Mike asked us if we'd be game for mounting the Aero Pro-Stock Scoop on the front end. "No problem" was our response, even though this car was originally built and painted somewhere in Michigan and we had no color codes to go by! As required, the match was perfect……looked like the scoop was on the car when it was built according to Mike. So we did the spot repairs with the same result. Even reworked a poorly thought out front-end fastening method that was continually causing Mike grief. Oh yea, we smoothed and painted the underside of the front end as well. Baby blue base, Gold Pearl overlay, Blended Clear…….NO PROBLEM!
